A few times a year, Argonne closes to cars and things get bigger: night markets till 8, a festival for peaches, a pumpkin patch, a downtown full of costumes, and a tree lot to start the holidays.

Argonne closes to cars and fall officially starts. Grand opening of The Great Pumpkin Patch and Fall Fun Zone, dozens of vendors, sweets and food, live music from Teddy McCready, and drinks from 4Hands Brewery.

Kid’s Fall Fun Zone & Pumpkin Patch
Celebrate the season with slides, tunnels, hay bales, and pumpkins galore! From September 25th to October 31st, The Summit transforms into a fall adventure filled with hands-on attractions, weekend entertainment, gem mining, and tasty treats. Whether you’re visiting for a weekday wristband or a weekend of food trucks and face painting, there’s autumn magic waiting for every age.

Shop doors open, sidewalks fill with costumes, and downtown turns into the best candy route in town. It's the most candy-heavy night of the year in Kirkwood. Costumes strongly encouraged!
Holiday Magic at The Summit
Tree Lot & Gingerbread Shoppe
Step into the season with our most magical holiday experience Saturday, November 21, 2026, through the holiday season — the Kirkwood Tree Lot and Gingerbread Shoppe.
Wander through a winter wonderland of lush wreaths, garlands and fresh-cut Christmas trees up to 16 feet tall. Then cozy up in the heated Gingerbread Shoppe, filled with holiday treats, ornaments, hand-tied bows, gifts, and festive décor.
Enjoy tree delivery, setup, and even post-holiday takedown from our expert Tree Guys, and let our designers customize wreaths, garlands, and center pieces - or choose from their unique, ready-to-go creations.
