KY.  Black Diamond Watermelon. This is a fan favorite and for good reason. 

Deep Red Fleshed- Great Texture - Very Sugary Sweet 

The original version was seeded, grew as large as forty pounds with a super thick rind that was coveted for making pickled watermelon rind. 

These days they are grown as a lesser sized seedless watermelon. What has not changed is the famously super sweet, deep red, perfectly textured flesh. So so good on a hot summer day.
