"It was a blustery day, when my husband and I pulled into the ample parking lot. I have a bad back, so we used the handicap parking. I was thinking that the fruit and vegetables would be covered with a layer of dust, due to the high winds. When I walked through the door, I was pleasantly surprised to see how clean it was. The next thing that struck me right away was the size of the produce. Twice as large as I had been buying at grocery stores and Walmart. Did I mention how clean it was? To top it off, it was organized so nicely that it was almost surreal! I've never seen fruits and vegetables displayed in rows and fully stocked like this before. As I slowly strolled through the rows, everything around me was catching my eye. A nice young man, who was very busy restocking shelves of various sauces, took the time and made the effort to cheerfully greet us. He was very pleasant and made us feel welcome. This just never happens anywhere else, folks. I'm rarely so impressed while shopping that the urge to take pictures overwhelms me...I ended up taking nine! I mean, I needed to share this gem with the public! I'm definitely going back there for all my produce, eggs, jams and even plants and outdoor statues. It's easy to get there, being a short distance off Manchester Road in Kirkwood. Driving down the main street, you'll find many quaint little shops. Give yourselves plenty of time to browse to your hearts content... you'll go home with a smile on your face."
